About Us
Urban Volleyball Development (UVD) is dedicated to expanding access to the game of volleyball in underserved communities. We believe the sport is more than competition—it’s a vehicle for growth, mentorship, and opportunity. Through camps, clinics, and community programs in communities in Texas, Mississippi, Missouri, Alabama, Georgia and beyond. We provide athletes with quality training, life skills education, and the confidence to pursue their goals. Our approach blends athletic development with workshops on financial literacy, college readiness, academic achievement, and mental wellness, ensuring that every participant leaves empowered both on and off the court. At UVD, we are committed to building stronger athletes, stronger leaders, and stronger communities.
Mission
Urban Volleyball Development empowers youth in underserved communities by expanding access to the sport of volleyball. Through skill-building camps, mentorship, and educational workshops, we provide opportunities that inspire confidence, teamwork, and growth on and off the court.
